The Redemption successfully recruited a new intake at the Geelong Show before it closed for another year. Then it returned to the Rock to train them, and on the third day, the Reunion whisked the returned fighters away to the Supply Depot.
On reaching there, their pilots ferried the new fighting craft aboard, and the Reunion took on more supplies and munitions before injecting them and the replacement crews where needed.
Dave was the only one of Colin’s friends who didn’t re-up, while his younger brother Pee Wee did. He remained aboard the Redemption to train as a fighter while his friends were all drafted to different Carriers to replace fallen comrades in the hotspots around the galaxy.
Colin and Kyla were drafted to the Repulse and continued to grow as squadron leaders on each new outing, and the bounty on them kept accruing after each battle. The Lizards set a trap for them on Cyrano, but they went in forewarned, then afterwards they picked up on their number two’s malcontent, which they didn’t need…
