Cotton á Broder is a medium twisted thread with a delicate sheen.

"It is a round thread, i.e. it lies on the fabric like a tiny gimp and does not lie as smoothly on the fabric as does stranded cotton. This makes a very beautiful structure. Use a rather short thread only to keep the sheen and re-twist once in a while during work."
