Solid old pine trunk, of diminutive size, possibly a salesman sample or apprentice piece. Has had the side handles replaced at some stage with Art Nouveau period brass handles. The fitted shelf makes the trunk useful to store papers, jewellery, tools, toys, etc. Dated late 1800’s, made in Australia. Some signs of use and a few marks commensurate with the age.
