This lovely sampler was stitched in 1849 by a 13 year-old Dutch girl. There are so many things I love about this sampler. The borders, the motifs, the colors… what can I say except I LOVE it!

Stitch count: 258W by 273H

Approximate Finished Size: (36 count over two threads of linen)14.6” W by 15.4” H

Threads: Weeks Dye Works: Parchment, Banana Pudding, Sandcastle, Dove, Artichoke, Driftwood, Palomino, Flatfish, Loden x 3, Grape Vine, Onyx, Pea Coat, Hunter x 2, Lilypad x 2, Whiskey, Gold and Cinnabar

The model was stitched over two threads of linen using one strand of floss
