What is the Tell-Pass?
The Tell-Pass is the regional excursion ticket for the Lake Lucerne Region. Unrestricted rail, bus and boat travel, as well as numerous aerial cableways – plus great savings with many Bonus Partners.

Where can I get the Tell-Pass?
The Tell-Pass is available from more than 80 sales outlets throughout the Lake Lucerne Region (boat landing stages, railway stations, tourist offices and hotels). It can also be bought online from this website (print@home). The Tell-Pass is also available from all manned Swiss Federal Railways stations in Switzerland.
 
What does the Tell-Pass cost?
The Tell-Pass starts at CHF 170 per person for two days of unrestricted travel.
 
And the children...?
Children aged 6-16 travel for a fixed price of just CHF 30 for anything from two to ten days' unrestricted travel! Kids under the age of 6 are travelling for free.

Where is the Tell-Pass valid?
The Tell-Pass offers virtually unrestricted rail, bus, boat and aerial cableway travel throughout the Lake Lucerne Region.
 
Is the Tell-Pass valid for the trip from Zurich Airport to Lucerne?
The Tell-Pass only covers part of the journey (from Zurich to the city of "Zug"). Means that you will need an additional, regular ticket from Zurich (Airport) to Zug and continue the journey from there by Tell-Pass.
 
How do I use the Tell-Pass?
Purchase the Tell-Pass and climb aboard – it's as easy as that. No need to have the ticket stamped or validated. You simply show your Tell-Pass and a valid ID document when asked to do so.
 
Is the Tell-Pass transferable?
No, the Tell-Pass is non-transferable and bears the holder's name.
 
Does the Tell-Pass have to be used all at once?
Yes, the Tell-Pass must be used 'en bloc', i.e. the selected number of days must be used one after the other without a break.
 
Are there reductions in the event of bad weather?

Are there reductions for groups?
Yes. Every tenth person in a group travelling together receives a free Tell-Pass (excluding school outings).
