Part# KB-IFS-Aarms-Reco ; Kustom Bitz can supply new bushes and press new ball joints into the Lakes Hot Rod Parts IFS A arms or the older Rod City Repros fabricated A arms.  There were at least three different types of ball joints used in the Rod City IFS A arms, all with varying cost, different tapers and availability, so you will need to either book the car in or best to pull the front end apart and just send the A arms in because we struggle for space most of the time and may not be able to get your whole car in for weeks.  We can also reco other manufacturers A arms when required.

In the photos you will see we picked up that when one set of arms were sent into us for new bushes and ball joints that one arm was quite bent.  The car had been through several owners and the new owner had no idea the arm was bent other than that the wheel alignment couldn’t be done. The fabricated A arms need a heavy impact to bend them so it would have been a substantial accident. Luckily it could be salvaged and we were able to straighten it out in our 30 ton press. 

Note: that our new IFS solid one piece A arms are a direct replacement for the old Rod City Repro’s IFS, so if you have had an accident and mangled your A arms we have a solution for you.

Kustom Bitz can fit new bushes, new bal joints, straighten arms, supply new bolts and nylon locking nuts and we can re-polish them, all is done in house at our factory workshop in Croydon VIC.
