Part# KB-MSP-40-LC-SHR-PIN : Kustom Bitz diff brackets range are stronger than the standard OEM units ~ this lower shock absorber mount suits our Leaf spring style clamping plates. Made from mild steel this bracket is heavy duty 4mm thick plate. 
 
This part number is for the pin or stud end style shocks.  The idea is that this can be welded to the lower leaf spring clamp plate. This example is based on the Ford design that was used in 1960's and 1970's Fords with leaf spring rear ends.  There are slits in the bracket that allow you to easily bend this mount in a simple garage vise to get the desired angle to suit your vehicle.  When using these mounts with our leaf spring clamping pates that have deep returns on the bottom which allows you more adustment for angle when you position them for welding. Then simply weld up all the slits for strength.

This design is such that it allows you to cut, file and bend it so as you can place your shocker in a good position. Perfect for modified cars with lowered suspension.
